Why are the powers that be so self-righteous, cold-hearted and merciless? Is it because they imagine that they will never need someone else's mercy? Or do they think they can hide their sins beneath the body corporate. Bodies corporate can commit crimes, but they cannot sin. As far as sins are concerned, I think we bear full personal liability.

I am so sad to be voiceless on this little island, teeming with people.

But if I was given back my voice, I don't think I would know what to say. The price for being dumb all these years.
